Bio:

I graduated as an Electrical Engineer from University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka in 2010. Then joined the same university and worked as a temporary lecturer for 2 years. Then started my Masters degree at University of Agder, Norway in the field of renewable energy and completed the degree in 2014. After returning to Sri Lanka, I served as a lecturer at my home university teaching electrical power systems related modules. I joined the energy research center, FHV, Austria as a research assistant in 2018 and at the same time enrolled to the PhD program at University of Agder, Norway. In my PhD research at the moment, I'm evaluating energy management strategies for electric vehicle charging. I also worked with different projects at the research center closely related to my PhD research title.

Examples of previous talks / appearances:

"Autonomous Demand Side Management of Electric Vehicles in a Distribution Grid"

I presented a conference paper with the title "Autonomous Demand Side Management of Electric Vehicles in a Distribution Grid" at the 7th International Youth Conference on Energy 2019 (IYCE'19) in July, 2019 in Bled, Slovenia.
